So, version 4 of the combat test. Likely the last one for a while, or at least until we start getting proper artwork (fingers crossed nothing bad happens to our potential new artist) This test has an updated control system, support for all types of gamepads, an updated commands system, new movement interactions, better performance, and the level layout courtesy of Argon. I'll be bringing in animations for wall running and fixing the ledge-grabbing animations in an update in a week or so. I really just wanted to get this test build out before the end of the summer and there were a couple of things that were priorities like testing level feel, ledge detection, wall running, and the air dash. I wanted to get people's opinions asap before I begin to fix bugs that I know are going to take a few days: wall jumping not working, strange performance dips when moving, rotation for the player sometimes being locked at the start at random times, air dodge occasionally taking away the player's ability to jump, and a couple of others.
I'm really thankful for the people who've given me feedback so far, ya'll have been amazing. This version isn't one ya'll have to necessarily play. It's more for me and Argon so that we can coordinate level design. But if you do, I'd love the feedback - even if it's "this sucks make it better".
